James has spent the past 15 years serving as a communication designer & translator between creative artists & technical engineers within the animated feature film industry. During this time he was led down a path of healing that introduced him to art therapy & ultimately psychedelic integration therapy. Extended Bio:
The main medicines that I work with are Ayahuasca and an Ayahuasca analogue called Soma: a combination of Peganum Harmala (Syrian Rue) and a DMT source. I have worked with a wide range of psychedelic medicines, in particular psilocybin and LSD, and I enjoy supporting individuals with diverse interests and preferences. Personally, I have found working with Ayahuasca and Soma to be particularly helpful for ADHD. The harmala alkaloids unique to these medicines have helped me to manage many of the symptoms of ADHD, most notably tendencies towards impulsivity and irritability, in ways that prescription stimulant medicines could not. The synergy of these medicines with meditation and Buddhist teachings have brought significant improvements in mental health and personal happiness.

My personal work with mushrooms has helped me quit smoking, take better care of myself, and has improved my relationship to myself and others. It’s also fueled my creativity and given me a profound respect for the natural world. 6 years ago, ayahuasca helped heal my chronic depression and sent me on a deeper, more intentional journey with plant medicine. Through these experiences, I felt a calling to help create space for others to do this powerful work. I trained with InnerTrek, have received an undergraduate degree in psychology where I specialized in neuroscience and psychopharmacology. Mindfulness meditation has been crucial to my healing, and I attend annual silent retreats. I believe that psychedelics and meditation are synergistic, and that contemplative spirituality provides a framework for greater lasting transformation. I can offer customized meditation instruction that works well for those with ADHD or Autism.
